APR was invited by Elton John AIDS Foundation to generate international media coverage and third party social media buzz for their ‘Love Is In My Blood’ global Valentine’s Day campaign which featured celebrity supporters pricking their finger in support of ‘the fight against AIDS is winnable through compassion’ message. Extensive on and offline coverage was generated across major newspaper and e-zine titles, twitter and blog sites.
To celebrate the launch of the ‘Angelina’ bespoke kitchen cabinetry collection in London, APR curated a launch party around the concept of a culinary charity auction to animate the kitchen story and add cache to the event. The party was co-hosted by Romeo Sozzi and The Hon. Rosa Monckton of KIDS to attract a wider audience of London’s social scene. In total 127 guests (including personalities, media, opinion formers, KIDS supports and Promemoria’s clients) attended the exclusive event held at the newly expanded Promemoria showroom on Pimlico Road. News and diary coverage across national newspapers, consumer magazines and local London media was generated following the event.
Sloane Street partnered with Elephant Family and Habitat for Humanity by unveiling a pair of life-size floral Asian elephants on Sloane Street to launch the charities’ ‘Animal Ark’ initiative during Chelsea Flower Show 2013. The life-sized elephants drew admiring crowds as well as generating coverage for Sloane Street within broadcast, print and online media.
In addition to organising the annual Gala dinner (selling tables, sourcing auction items and arranging entertainment), APR were responsible for maintaining relationships with the charity’s long standing supporters and donors organising regular networking events with the Co-Chairmen and Trustees. APR also researched, edited and launched a publication “Out of Love for Romania” – a book that tells the story of the charity and pays tribute to the generosity of both private individuals and corporations in the UK.
